mygardenpods was founded by Darren & Oliver McKinley in 2021, with an objective to create a business that would utilise Oliver's skill set as a carpenter and Darren's project management experience, whilst offering a product that appealed to the consumer.
mygardenpods designs, builds and delivers turnkey accommodation at a cost advantage to a standard build. myroom offer work from home offices, garden rooms that can be utilised as a gym, living room or home bar and alternative living products such as glamping pods/Shephards huts.
The product materials are the best in the industry and often are built to a higher quality than the clients own home, with higher energy ratings. Each product has a 10 year structural warranty.
In 2024, My Garden Pods expanded from garden rooms and WFH offices into Garden Homes. The first turnkey home was a one bedroom Granny flat."

Q. How does payment structure work?
25% deposit once design agreed and contract signed
25% deposit once structural works done re frame, insulation and plywood

Q. Can we make a garden room to suit your garden?
Both our products will meet demands of most consumers? Bespoke can be done, but it can be slightly more costly.
Q. Do you deliver? Do you put the base in for the garden room?
Delivery tends to be free within 25 mile. Delivery across Ireland for £300+vat. We can refer groundworker to prepare the ground at an additional cost. Ground works can be minimal depending on the client's vision.
Q. How does the warranty work?
Any structural issues will be addressed by us over the next 24 months. All materials used have 10 year warranty.
